Registration Requirements for Overseas Food Manufacturers Exporting to China:(1) Established with approval from and under the effective supervision of the competent authority of the country (region) of origin;(2) Implemented an effective food safety and hygiene management and protection system, legally producing and exporting within the country (region) of origin, ensuring that food exported to China complies with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, and national food safety standards;(3) Met the relevant inspection and quarantine requirements agreed upon between the General Administration of Customs and the competent authority of the country (region) of origin. Overseas manufacturers of foods listed in the catalog must also obtain a recommendation from the competent authority of their country (region).
Submit the following application materials to the General Administration of Customs:(1) Enterprise registration application information;(2) Enterprise identity documents, such as a business license issued by the competent authority of the country (region) or a certificate issued by said authority;(3) A declaration by the enterprise committing to comply with the requirements of these provisions.Overseas manufacturers of foods included in the catalog shall also submit an audit inspection report and a letter of recommendation issued by the competent authority of their country (region).When necessary, the General Administration of Customs may require enterprises to provide materials such as food safety and hygiene systems, production types, and production capacity.
The information contained in the enterprise registration application shall include the enterprise name, country (region) of origin, production facility address, legal representative, contact person, contact information, registration number approved by the competent authority of the country (region) of origin, and the types of food products being registered.
