1. Imported plastic pellets must be brand-new, non-waste plastic pellets;

2. Certain ports impose color restrictions on imported plastic pellets, prohibiting specific colors. Contact us in advance if you have specific color requirements;

3. Customs may conduct value verification and inspections for plastic pellets with excessively low declared values; 4. For pellets exported from certain countries to China, preferential tariff rates under bilateral agreements may apply. In such cases, a Certificate of Origin from the exporting country is required;

5. Customs may conduct inspections to verify container sanitation and examine for any adulteration with other goods.

Basic Process for Importing Plastic Pellets:

1. The customer provides the arrival notice, original bill of lading, or telex release bill of lading to the shipping company to exchange for import delivery orders after settling charges such as document fees and terminal fees;

2. Required documentation: packing list, contract, invoice, bill of lading, customs declaration and inspection authorization letter;

3. For wooden packaging, provide fumigation certificate and original IPPC certificate confirming disinfection and pest control treatment;

4. Prepare all special documentation required for specific products;

5. For countries offering tariff exemptions, provide preferential origin certificates.
